I have wanted to take some puffin shots for some time and joined a trip with Andy on 19th June 2011, a gift from my family for my birthday. What a gift!! It was a small group that went to Skomer that day, none of us had been before and had different levels of photographic knowledge but this didnt matter because Andy spent time with each of us and I think we all came back from the day with great photos and a better knowledge of our cameras.

The photo opportunities were endless. I never expected to see so many puffins and get so close to them. I am looking forward to returning to Skomer and using some of the tips I learnt from Andy on the day.
