Thank you Andy, for such a great day. The start wasn't promising with the mist clinging tenaciously to the island. Remarkably, Iolo Williams was shooting for Summerwatch and he pointed out a juvenile peregrine falcon though the gloom, so we were off to a good start.

The puffins were extraordinary and we were able to get so close that one of them climbed over the back of my legs while I was kneeling to take a photo. Taking them in flight proved much more difficult!

Thanks too, to my fellow photographers who generously lent me more powerful lenses to make the best use of Andy's tuition.
