I have always had a keen interest in birds and wildlife in general. I am now semi-retired and twelve months ago I purchased my first digital SLR camera. I have read many magazines and books in attempting to improve my photographic skills, but had not produced the end results that I was truly happy with.

The “hands on” photographic course on Skomer with Andy gave me a greater insight into the settings of my camera and associated photographic techniques than I have gleaned in the last twelve months.

Skomer is a superb location, the close proximity to many different seabirds was fantastic, and I actually took some photographs I was proud of. This was a very enjoyable and worthwhile exercise.
