A thoroughly good day out in which I learnt great deal - Andy is an excellent teacher with an easy going style and a clear passion for his subject.  Although there were no puffins on the island at the time of this workshop there were plenty of other suitable wildlife subjects and the photographic technique that I learnt make me think I could return on my own in Puffin season and get some killer shots. 

The landscape aspects of the course have also given me much more confidence, particularly in picture composition, and I put these skills into practice during the remainder of my Pembrokeshire holiday with notable improvement on my previous efforts! 

By spending a day with Andy my photography has taken a significant step forward and, what’s more, it was all done in a very relaxing atmosphere. 

Thanks for a great day out on Skomer, you inspired me to go on and take many more photographs in Pembrokeshire than I might otherwise have done – I’m even remembering to hold my camera correctly!
