Thank you so much for an excellent day out. Skomer is a wonderful place, even when it pours with rain. I’m really grateful to Moory Mere hide for that period of rain, but the weather for the rest of the visit to the island was perfect.

I learnt a great deal about the best way to photograph animals and even though puffins do stand quite still and are so beautiful, they are quite difficult to capture in all their glory. I definitely believe that your maxim of aim for the eye is the best way to go.
