Nothing prepared me for the stunning beauty of Skomer on this, my first visit - carpets of wild flowers, rock formations and many, many birds.
Andy Davies’ informal and friendly approach made sure the workshop group soon got to know each other and he started the day explaining some of the settings required to capture images there.

This was well pitched at all levels of experience and ability and gave us a good foundation for the day’s photography.
Andy then took us to some of the best locations on the island - his local knowledge invaluable.
The puffins were of course the stars of the day and we came away tired, but happy! What a wonderful experience!
