What a great day …… a must for anyone keen on wildlife, photography, or just the great outdoors.
From the minute I booked this workshop Andy provided great support - from the equipment to take through to food and clothing for the day. Andy has a wealth of knowledge, not only for painting with light (photography), but also for the landscape and wildlife on and around Skomer.
After boarding the first boat over to the island we made our way up the very steep steps, and stopped to catch our breath at the top! The view was spectacular and immediately it was clear that the island and its wildlife was going to be the same.

The group had very mixed abilities, but Andy made sure that everyone was happy with their cameras and settings, and was keen to provide one to one advice if needed. His knowledge of the island ensured we all had the best chance possible of capturing some great action shots, and knowing that support was there if you were struggling was a real bonus.
Overall a tiring but fantastic day, and one that I look forward to doing again.
